About John Carr, Q.C., TEP

Originally the senior partner at CSM, John has recently transitioned to counsel to the firm. He is a native Prince Edward Islander practicing in Charlottetown for more than 45 years. John is a Kings College and Dalhousie Law School graduate. He continues to maintain close ties to both schools.

John’s practice is varied and includes Corporate-Commercial, Estates, Trusts, and Real Estate. He is a certified Trust and Estate Practitioner.

John is married to Connie MacKay-Carr. They have two adult children, Sarah and Alex, and three grandchildren, Aela, Kallen and Lara. In his free time, John enjoys sailing and can often be found navigating the Eastern Seaboard with his wife in their Beneteau sailboat. He also enjoys walking, reading, travelling and bird watching.
